Films, videotapes, compact disc covers and posting boxes are part of the production program where the usage of graphic carton board packaging is usual and increasing. The development of compact disc packaging is especially interesting, since compact discs were first packed in plastic cases, while carton board packaging was used in marketing projects and kept being used for commercial purposes. The application is simpler, the packaging is cheaper and it is possible to illustrate directly on the packaging, rather than on the paper inside the plastic case. Carton board graphic packaging is also more practical for the placement and sale of collector's edition packages containing several compact discs or videotapes.
